The project required low and medium voltage cables compliant with the IEC60502 standard. The products were armored cables featuring complex structures and tight delivery schedules. Some specifications involved very short lengths (only a few hundred meters)—quantities that typical manufacturers are reluctant to produce and for which stock is rarely available. Third-party inspection was mandatory; shipment could only proceed after samples of each specification passed testing.
Huatong took a holistic view of our order book and coordinated delivery schedules across different projects. We consolidated production runs for low-volume specifications and adjusted other clients' schedules to slot in production for this client. We also coordinated with third-party inspectors in advance to ensure the goods were completed and inspected within the shortest possible timeframe.
End-to-end quality control: We managed everything from the procurement of raw materials (conductors, insulation, sheathing, armor) to in-process testing, ensuring strict control over both time and quality. Final product testing and third-party inspections were conducted concurrently.
Through precise production scheduling and cross-departmental collaboration, we ensured full traceability for every batch of cable—from raw material intake to finished product dispatch. We employed flexible manufacturing adjustments for short-length specifications to minimize material waste. Third-party inspection reports and factory release documents were delivered simultaneously, allowing the client to use the products immediately upon receipt with zero waiting time.
The final IEC60502 medium and low voltage cables were delivered on time and in full compliance with quality and quantity requirements. The entire batch passed third-party inspection, and we provided comprehensive test reports, TUV certification, timely post-sales dispatch, and technical support.
The product quality proved excellent during trial installation, and even the short-length specifications were delivered on schedule. The client's overall project was completed on time; the end customer was highly satisfied and expressed a desire for future cooperation.
While the products themselves were not highly specialized, quality and delivery timing were critical factors. We successfully coordinated the project to meet the client's needs without compromising our company's interests, thereby earning the client's trust and securing future business.
